  1. Provide 1 cup of split pigeon peas (toor Dal).

  15. Provide 1 tea spoon of sambhar masala.

Instructions to make Sambhar:

  1. Soak the lentin (Dal) for 1/2 an hour.
  2. After 1/2 an hour pour the Dal in pressure cooker, add turmeric, Hing and salt and cook 1 whistle at high flame and 3 at low flame.
  3. Now take a wok add 2 table spoon ghee,mustard seeds, whole red chilli, Curry leaves, chana Dal, urad Dal.
  4. Add chopped onions, cucumber, tomato and saute for 1 min..
  5. Add salt, red pepperika, lemon juice, sambhar masala, now add cooked dal mix well and cook for 1 min sambhar is ready.
  6. Enjoy.
